Professional Accomplishments
Dr. Cox received her BS degree from George Washington University, graduating cum laude in 2005. She completed her veterinary training at Auburn University in 2010, also graduating with cum laude honors. While in veterinary school, Dr. Cox conducted pharmaceutical research, which was later published in the prestigious Journal of Veterinary Pharmacology and Therapeutics. Dr. Cox finished an internal medicine and surgery internship at Iowa State University and recently completed a three-year cardiology residency at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital, one of the largest and most technically advanced specialty centers in the US.
