Professional Accomplishments

Dr. Christen completed her DVM at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. During her schooling she was very active in the emergency and critical care unit at the teaching hospital as well as the shelter medicine program. After graduation, she completed an internship focusing on emergency medicine, surgery, and general practice medicine at Animal Medical Hospital. Her goals are to continue high quality emergency medicine and continue helping out in the shelter community. 

In her free time, Dr. Christen enjoys hiking, backpacking, cooking, and traveling with her partner Callen and their dog, Penny. She has two cats, Nelson, and recent addition to the family, Mulligan, a blind kitten who was a foster failure from her internship year.
